NURSE AIDE PROGRAM
Training Objectives
The objective of the nurse aide program is to prepare the student for an entry- level position as a nurse aide found in – sitting. Students will learn to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff in residential care facilities. Students will be issued a certificate of completion after completing the nurse aide program.

Students must meet the minimum requirements for graduation within the program period. The classroom portion of the training is 60 hours (20 hours per week for 3 weeks) and the clinical portion is 40 hours (5 days) for a total of 100 hours. Students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 60 classroom hours and 40 clinical hours for consideration for graduation.
